For the second consecutive year UNLV's Nikki Regalado reset the track & field program's indoor 5000m mark at the University of Washington's Husky Classic. After posting a program- and personal-best time of 17:00.74 at the 2015 edition held at the Dempsey Indoor, the senior one-upped herself by nearly six seconds Friday night with a 16:54.99 effort in identical surroundings.
