UNLV track & field alumna Lekeisha Lawson finished tied for 10th overall in the 60m at the 2014 IAAF World Championships Sunday in Sopot, Poland. Lawson ran a time of 7.18, which was one one-hundredths of a second faster than Saturday's preliminary time, to finish third in her heat on the track at Ergo Arena. Unfortunately, her time did not qualify for either an automatic spot (top two finishers in each heat) or one of two for those with the fastest times.
